With Cyclovia Tucson, the more the merrier!
“How can I get my organization involved?” you might be asking. There are a variety of ways in which you and your organization can be part of Cyclovia Tucson and help activate the route on March 18th. Here are three basic options:
1) Set up an informational table for your business at our event (this requires a fee)
(Download the 2012 Sponsor Packet and turn in the “Sponsor Form”)
2) Set up an informational table as a non-profit or community organization (no fee required, but volunteer help or hosting an activity is requested)
We welcome community groups and non-profits to set up information tables along the route, but we ask that you give back in one of two ways; 1) host some sort of fun, interactive activity, or 2) help us manage an intersection by your booth (more info here).
3) Host an activity or perform along the route (no fee required) — we are always seeking musical groups, dance troupes, hula-hoop clubs, – you name it – to help activate the route!
Requirements for all types of “tablers”
1) You are responsible for providing everything you’ll need (including a table, chairs, or whatever you need to create a good display)
2) You must be set up by no later than 9:30am on the day of the event, stay through the end of the event (3pm) and clean up after yourselves post-event
3) Please don’t block the route! We’ll work with you to get your table as close to the action as possible, but please help us keep the route open and easy to move through
