The spring 2016 Cyclovia Tucson route, a brand NEW route, connected more than 25,000 people from the Lost Barrio Shopping District to Himmel Park along 2.5 miles of car-free streets. Despite rainy skies, tens of thousands of people walked, rolled, and strolled through Barrio San Antonio, Miles Neighborhood, and Sam Hughes checking out dozens of free activities along the way. Here are a few photos from the day, courtesy of Taylor Miller. You can see all the photos on our Flickr page here.
Cyclovia Tucson organizers have created another new route for the fall 2016 event happening on Sunday, October 30th from 10am to 3pm. The new route connects the Miramonte Neighborhood to The Garden District. You can be among the first to see the new route by following us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or signing up for the Living Streets Alliance e-newsletter.
