Iskashitaa Refugee Network


Iskashitaa Refugee Network works with UN refugees and community members volunteers to address food insecurity in Southern Arizona by harvesting food from the properties of homeowners and businesses that would otherwise be destined for landfills. The fruit is then distributed to refugees in and other local nonprofits such has, food banks, soup kitchens, women’s shelters, and schools in Southern Arizona. We will have fresh lemonade, citrus fruit, marmalade, and jams, made with fruit we have harvested, for sale. Prices range from $1 to $8.
