As an individual, small group, or nonprofit, there is no cost to host an approved activity at Cyclovia. In order to keep the event free and frequent, for-profit businesses and government agencies are asked to contribute $500 for their spot on the route and opportunity to interact with 40,000+ participants.

If you would like to appear in marketing materials, select your location on the route or receive other benefits, consider becoming an official sponsor of Cyclovia.

Besides helping to keep Cyclovia Tucson free and frequent, your $500 donation returns to you in so many ways. With your support, we will work with you to create an engaging activity and choose the perfect route location to maximize exposure. Your activity will be featured on interactive route maps and our website, complete with photo, description, and links to your organization. During the event, we hire a team of photographers to snap photos and post them on our web platforms, mentioning your organization and linking to your website.

The best activities are those that creatively represent your group or organization while getting event participants involved and moving. Some past examples: a gym hosting fitness challenges; a dance group giving short lessons; a clothing store doing a fashion show. The local newspaper even helped build a Paperboy Obstacle Course complete with a fake front door for a target! Sometimes activity partners are just individuals who want to share their passion for an activity such as slacklining, hula hooping or playing musical instruments.

We invite the many organizations doing good work in Tucson to participate in Cyclovia and share what they do. To make the most of the opportunity, organizations are discouraged from simply handing out printed materials. Instead, consider setting up a fun activity which will bring more people to your table and help keep Cyclovia Tucson an active, environmentally-friendly event.

As a business owner and neighborhood host, you are encouraged to remain open and get involved! There are no fees for businesses or other organizations already located on the route. Many businesses at past events reported increased sales due to foot traffic, especially when setting up an activity in front of their store to draw in participants! Please contact us with any questions you have.

If your activity requires electricity we encourage you to reach out to businesses along the route ahead of time to see if you will be able to use their power or look into battery/ solar-powered alternatives. If your activity needs to be set up near a specific business because you already have the business owners permission to use their power, please note it in the application. Bring all the materials you will need to stay comfortable during the event, including: tables, chairs and pop-up shade tents (must be staked or weighted down!).

If you’re located on the route, set up on your property! Otherwise, review the route and note your location preferences in your registration application. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but due to space restrictions, only Featured Sponsors can choose their final spot. No one will be allowed to set up on private property (e.g. parking lots) without the owner's permission, and businesses have first priority for space in front of their store.

Activity hosts are encouraged to promote their presence on the route and invite their networks to participate! Feel free to share Cyclovia flyers, graphics and social media posts/events. Hosts are not permitted to utilize the Cyclovia logo on any promotional materials without permission or create additional signage on the route beyond their activity location.

En su lugar, considere organizar una actividad divertida que atraiga a más personas a su puesto y ayude a hacer de Cyclovia Tucson un evento activo y ecológicamente sustentable.

Como propietario de un negocio y anfitrión del vecindario, se le anima a mantenerse abierto y participar en el evento. Muchas empresas en eventos anteriores informaron un aumento de las ventas debido al tráfico peatonal, especialmente cuando establecieron una actividad frente a su tienda para atraer a los asistentes. Si tu actividad requiere electricidad, sugerimos que se comunique con los negocios a lo largo de la ruta con anticipación para ver si podrán usar su energía o buscar alternativas con baterías o energía solar. Revisa la ruta y anota tus preferencias de ubicación en tu registro. Haremos todo lo posible para satisfacer solicitudes, pero, por restricciones del espacio, solo los patrocinadores destacados pueden elegir su lugar final. Nadie podrá instalarse en propiedad privada (por ejemplo, estacionamientos) sin el permiso del propietario, y las empresas tienen la primera prioridad para el espacio frente a su tienda.
