We’re ready for your help!
Cyclovia depends on people like you to volunteer to make the event the success! We’ve developed volunteer shifts so that you can help out, but still have plenty of time to explore the route and enjoy the festivities! Please consider being an intersection volunteer or if you are under 18, a youth volunteer. Below are descriptions and information on how to sign up.
Intersection Volunteer (9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) OR (12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.)
Cyclovia depends on people like you to volunteer to make the event a success! One of the most important volunteer opportunities is helping out at the intersections. There are nearly 50 intersections along the 5-mile Cyclovia route that need to be manned by volunteers during the event.
Volunteers will help guide Cyclovia participants as they travel along the route. Volunteers will also help residents living along the route enter and exit their homes.
We are looking for volunteers who can work a 3 hour shift from either 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All volunteers will receive a Cyclovia t-shirt for helping out with the event.
Volunteers may need to be able to move barricades weighing about 15 lbs. Volunteers can sit at intersection, but please bring own chair.
To sign up, click the link below which will bring you to an online sign up system where you select the intersection of your choice. You may have to download a program to get to the online sign up system. If you have any problems signing up, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Ann Chanecka at achanecka@pagnet.org or by phone at 520-792-1093
